Caring for your tape-in extensions can seem overwhelming, so we've put together a list of our favorite tips to keep your extensions looking great and feeling comfortable.
Here are our top 10 tips:
- Avoid any hair products containing silicone
- Do not use oil-based products near your root
- Do not wash your hair for 48 hours after your installation (very important)
- Do not wash your hair “too much” (frequency, quantity of shampoo)
- Do not brush your hair “too much” (frequency, intensity, etc.)
- Sleeping with a ponytail or braid
- NEVER sleep with wet extension cords
- Do NOT use a flat iron directly on the strips near the scalp after installation.
- Use shampoo at the roots, but conditioner from the middle of your hair length to the bottom
Installation of Euro Prestige Adhesive Strips:
- The adhesive strips once installed must be heated with a mini flat iron with a 3 second time three times.
- If you want to dye them you absolutely must change the adhesive strips after washing and drying.
